Book presentation “The Pleasure of Port” in Oporto

João Paulo Martins presented “The Pleasure of Port” book in full Chinese at the Port and Douro Wines Institute (IVDP) in Oporto.

Presided by Dr. Manuel de Novaes Cabral, President of Port and Douro Wines Institute (IVDP), the presentation brought together well-known and illustrious people from the wine sector who attended the presentation of the first book on Port wine published entirely in Chinese. The edition aimed at Chinese readers unveils the mysteries of Port Wine, from its origin in the vineyards of the Douro to the long sleep in the cellars of Gaia. On this journey, readers get to know the 300 year long history, the methods of manufacture, the varieties and the rules of the Denomination of Origin.

若昂•保罗•马丁斯在波尔图市的波特酒及杜罗河葡萄酒研究院介绍了已被完全翻译成中文的《波特酒带来的快乐》一书。

推介会由波特酒及杜罗河葡萄酒研究院院长努瓦伊斯•曼努埃尔•卡布拉尔先生主持，许多葡萄酒领域的知名人士出席了推介会，听取了对第一本完全使用中文出版的，关于波特酒的书籍的介绍。这本书的中文版是针对中国读者的，书中从波特酒的原产地——杜罗河的葡萄园讲起，一直讲到它们在加亚的地下酒窖中沉睡多年，向中国读者揭开了波特酒的层层奥秘。通过书中的波特酒之旅，读者将对波特酒300年的悠久历史，波特酒的酿造方法，使用的葡萄品种和法定原产地标志规则等有所了解。
